What We Do

Our donors and volunteers provide “necessities for our neighbors” in many ways.

We refer our neighbors to Spokane agencies and organizations that provide assistance with financial struggles (e.g., employment, food, clothing, housing, utilities, transportation). We do this primarily through our Facebook group called, Help Yourself!, which provides contact information for hundreds of resources for basic necessities.

When needs cannot be met by local agencies and organizations, our volunteers provide:

• Emergency food
• Hygiene items

The Spokane Helpers Network operates year-round programs and coordinates special projects to help ensure the basic needs of our community members are met.
